Happy almost Tuesday gang! I hope the start to your week was wonderful and that you’re ready for a brand new opportunity to do something great! I also hope that you all had a great weekend and were able to spend it with the father and male figures in your lives. We had a fabulous day relaxing for the first half, spending a few hours out on the boat and then ended it for dinner at my parents house. It was also a pretty special day in our household because it was my husbands very first Fathers Day.
Anywho, onto today’s outfit post and let me tell ya, my middle-school self is screaming to the rooftops for this combo. Never did I think overalls would be back in style, but I’m sure glad they are! I love the mix-up and versatility that they bring to a standard pair of denim shorts/jeans. I also love them because they keep things pretty casual while still adding a little detail with the various buckle details and the fact that were are so many different styles of the fronts and back to choose from. For example, some have the destroyed look, some have a criss-cross back while others have the a full back, some have patch details, some have buttons going all the way down the front and the list goes on and on. So while every pair had the overall look to it, there are so many options that you can choose from to keep things fun and mix it up a bit.
Not only that, but I love that you can dress them up or dress them down a bit. For this look I kept it pretty casual with a fun patterned tee and this adorable slides. I can’t forget to mention the slides because I mean, just look at the beauts?! I received them as a birthday gift from my husband and I was so giddy when I opened them because I had been wanting them. They are so fun and add a boho look to any outfit. Don’t be surprised to see these babies around until I have to get the fall and winter footwear out! 😉
Do you gals dig the overall look or should I have left it back in my middle school days?! haha!
Until next time…
