Hi babes! Wishing you all a very happy Friday and weekend ahead! I missed it by just a day, but I wanted to share some of my favorites that I happened to find and love for the month of May. All items are linked below for your reference so be sure to check them out if it’s something you would like to try!

Essie Gel nail polish: So, I’m not sure if it has anything to do with my pregnancy, but for the past 2-3 months my nails have been SO brittle. To the point where they just keep cracking and breaking off. I had regular shellac gel nail polish on them, but took that off back in March thinking I would give them a little break. Typically when I take off my gel nail polish my nails are brittle, but they never stay this damaged for such a long period of time. Anywho, I was sick of having ugly plain nails so I wanted to try out a polish to give them some color and had heard about this new gel polish from Essie so I wanted to give it a shot. Needless to say, I really like it! I was hesitant at first, but it goes on really well ( I LOVE how easy it is to paint with the brush) and lasts much longer than regular polish. So until these little babies get stronger this will be my go-to!

By Lilla hair-ties: Ok, so if you’re anything like me you get sick of wearing plain black ugly hair-ties on your wrist, yeah?! I have the perfect solution for you! When By Lilla reached out to me for a collaboration I knew I wanted to do it right away. They’re the perfect set of hair-ties to add a little detail to an outfit, while till carrying functionality to be able to use them as actual hair-ties. Either way as bracelets or hair-ties, these are your ticket to replacing those plain ugly black ties!

Elf Highlighter: I know we all love a good highlighter and I know we all love a good highlighter even more when it is good quality AND budget friendly, am I right?! πŸ˜‰ If you’re like me in this case then you need this highlighter. It is the perfect neutral color and has just the right amount of shimmer to it. It also stays on all day as well which is another win in my book!

Tarte Amazonian Clay Finishing Powder: This is a gem that I had a while ago and never really gave it a good chance. Boy am I sure glad that I tried it out again! My sister-in-law gave me a box of make-up she didn’t love and this was one of the items that was in there. I was hesitant at first because I remembered not loving it before, but thought I would give it another whirl. I have to say, I absolutely LOVE this stuff. I use a very small amount of this powder after I’ve put on my foundation and concealer. It is perfect for giving my skin just the amount of matte look that I like while also making my skin feel silky smooth. I love that it doesn’t have any tint or color to it as well and it sits on my make-up so good! Try this goodness out and thank me later! πŸ˜‰

BB Don’t Blow It hair cream: I decided to try this cream after another blogger posted about it and to be honest, I typically don’t buy many hair products that are a cream base because I never really found one that sits well on my hair without making it feel gritty. I have to say though, I really like this cream and the simplicity of it. I will typically only use it when I’m fresh out of the shower and plan on letting my hair air-dry for the day. Because my hair is pretty wavy anyways it gives it just the right amount of style and weight that it needs. If you have pretty thin hair though, I can’t say that this would be good for you. I feel like you do need to have somewhat wavy/curly hair in order for this to work for you.

Thats all the goodness for you beauties today. I hope your weekend I fabulous and I’ll be back next week!

XO
