Tummy Ache

Another Monday almost in the book boss babes! I hope the start of your week has been productive and as best as a Monday can be! This Monday (unlike many others) wasn’t too bad for me because I LEAVE FOR MEXICO IN 2 DAYS! I’m sorry, I know you’ve heard this a thousand times, but I’m seriously so, so excited. The sunshine and warmth are so long over-due. I’m not even going to mention the ‘tan’ aspect because I won’t ‘tan’, it will be more like the look of a lobster. 😉 Now, if you would have asked me about 5 years ago I would have mentioned the amount of tanning oil I would put on to ‘try’ and get some other color besides bright red, but oh how times have changed (give me all the SPF!).

Alright, enough of that boring talk for you guys and onto this outfit by this adorable candy shop! How cute and fun is this building?! It’s one of those that you don’t even need to question if you should go in or not. It just draws you in and catches your attention like none other (how could it not, right?!).

This outfit is pretty casual I feel like, but enough to where it looks like you’re semi ‘put together’. I came across these high-rise lace-up pants when Express had their sale going on and I absolutely love them! They are casual enough like a jean to where I would want to wear them quite a bit, but yet also look a little more dressy/edgy. To add a pop of color I added this blush sweater (can’t go wrong with blush, ya feel me?!) and to pull in a lighter shade of grey I added this hooded scarf. I also can’t forget to mention these adorable hiking booties I got for Christmas from Sole Society. I love, love, love them! They’re the perfect grey/neutral color and are super comfortable and warm. I love the contrast that the lighter laces pull in as well. I do have to say though, the only draw-back is they’re kind of pain to get laced-up, but once you’re there you’re golden! 😉 I mayyyy just have to snag them in black as well. (just don’t tell my husband! 😉 )

XO
