Polar Bear

Hey all! I hope you have some sort of sunshine that you can add to this rainy Wednesday here in the mitten! If you’re a hunter, that is most definitely your sunshine because today is opening day! In the town I live in they basically treat it like a holiday haha. Schools are closed and even some businesses choose to close. So, if you’re a hunter, wishing you all the luck today (especially my hubs who lives to hunt). Today’s post is a look that I will be getting quite used to the next couple of months. I think the title fits this post perfectly because I literally felt like a polar bear in the jacket while roaming the Windy City. It is sooo super warm and I absolutely love it.

Because it was quite cold that weekend I wanted to make sure I was warm enough so I wasn’t miserable walking around all day. Even though this sweater is cropped it is so super warm! I snagged it from the Urban Outfitter sale last month and I’m sure glad I did. It is definitely a unique piece with the texture and colors, but those are what stuck out to me so I went for it! As you can probably tell, these jeans have been on a constant repeat for me. I absolutely love the fit of them and definitely won’t see them going to far anytime soon! I would like to add a couple colors to my collection so I’ll add them to my Santa list! haha 😉

Other ways to style the sweater:

a. Pair with a high-waisted skirt, tights and some booties/over the knee boots.

b. High-waisted  flowy pants with a statement belt and either heels or booties.

c. Obviously this would be for early fall, but you could pair it with some high-waisted shorts and some booties.

Have a great day babes!
