So you guys know I am all about my denim whether it’s denim jeans, tops, dresses, coats, etc. but another classic piece to me is a little black mixed in with some cheetah print. I feel like both denim and cheetah print are those that can be paired with just about anything and they just work. Denim is the neutral piece that offsets an outfit and the cheetah print is one spices up any outfit and generally gives more of an edgy vibe. Because these two pieces are so fabulous even on their own, I decided to pair them together for this outfit. As you can see, the denim is more of the low-key neutral piece in this outfit and the cheetah print top is what stands out and catches the eye. Not to mention, the lace detail makes this whole outfit even better! I love how the lace and cheetah print combo added the edgy vibes, but also a feminine side to it as well.

For me, finding those pieces that you can either A. pair with just about anything or B. have it be the standout item in an outfit, is key to my wardrobe. I know I’ve said this many times before, but I generally like those pieces that I know I’m going to get a good amount of wear out of them. Even though I mentioned in my Instagram post that it was literally 95 degrees out when we shot this outfit, I really feel like it is the perfect Fall get-up. Once we really get into the Fall weather here in Michigan I will be pairing some booties with some skirts and dresses and transitioning them into the colder weather months.

I know asking if you love denim is a crazy questions, so my question is, do you guys still dig the cheetah print or were you over it like 12 years ago?! 🙂

I hope you all have a fabulous and safe weekend and spend it with those you love!
