Mini Dress

Happy Wednesday to all of you beautiful people! I hope your week has been amazing so far and that you’ve had some time to soak up some of this nice weather we’ve had the past few days here in the mitten. I’m not going to lie, those few days where it felt like Fall, I was totally loving every minute of it. Then the other half of me is still holding on to summer for as long as I can haha. Today’s post is all about this mini dress that I snagged at a killer price. Unfortunately there is only one size left in this exact one, but I have linked similar ones below for you. I love the simplicity and versatility to this dress which is what stood out to me the most when I came across it. It is so simple, but yet has elements in it that make it stand out. Those elements being the cinched waist and sleeve details. This dress in particular is one that you can throw on and not have to do much else to complete the outfit.

For this photoshoot I kept is simple and paired some slider sandals with it. I also wore it a few weeks prior to a cook-out and paired my white chucks which provided a whole different look than what it had with some simple sandals. For me, finding pieces like this that are simple, yet sophisticated are the staples in my closet and those that I know will get a ton of use. Last but not least, the bright teal really stood out to me as well. I’m one to typically gravitate towards neutrals so sporting a bold color like this one here was out of my box, but I’m sure glad I went with it because I love it!

What are your guys’ thoughts?! Do you typically stick with something safe or press the limits and stand out?
