Denim on Denim

Hey gang! Wishing you all a very happy and productive Wednesday! Excited to say that we’re halfway through yet another work week. I also have to say how much I love the month of May. Not only is it my birthday month, but I feel like it’s so refreshing and provides you with so much to look forward to: Memorial Weekend (one of my favs as we go up north every year), the flowers and grass are coming back in full bloom and looking all bright and fresh, the start of summer-time and warmer days, and the list goes on! Does anyone else love May like I do?! I mean, I love the summer months too, but something about May that I just really enjoy!

Ok, lets talk a little denim on denim today. I remember when I would never wear two denim pieces together as it always reminded me of the JT and Britney Spears circa 2001, but oh how things have changed! I will always love denim in general because it is such a class piece, but I am even loving mixing denim together. Whether it is different shades of blue denim or even mixing in colored denim as well to offset the tones. Not only that, but I am obsessed with the floral and patch elements that are being incorporated into denim piece at the moment. I actually have a pair of denim jeans with some floral details that I’ve had my eye on for a little bit and may just have to snatch them up soon! For this outfit I decided to mix and match different shades of blue denim and I was really happy with how it turned out. I feel like the fit to this top is really flattering and it has some pretty neat fringe detail and we all know how I love the fringe look!

Do you guys love denim looks as much as me?! I know those pieces will never leave my wardrobe! Have a great days friends!
