Happy Tuesday to all of you beautiful people! I hope your Monday was lovely and that your Tuesday is even better! Today’s post was from a couple of months ago when I met up with a friend and went to the butterfly house in Midland to snap some pictures. It was so beautiful in there, I had never been before so it was completely new to me. I think butterflies are so magical and have a peaceful beauty to them so it was super cool to see them flying all around and landing on different things. Trying to catch them was a little tricky, but we were able to get a few to land! Something about the cocoons is so awesome to me as well. This may sound weird, but I somewhat compare a butterfly’s life cycle to us. They go through different stages in their life and have a goal at each stage in order to advance to the next cycle in their life with those stages being completely different from each other. So cool, right?!

Ok, I know that was a little deep so now onto the outfit that I wore this day. I wanted to wear something that was light and airy so I decided to go with this dress/vest and paired it with some simple denim jeans and a clean white top underneath. Sadly, it was about 20 degrees out that day and I would have loved to make this outfit a little more summery and boho, but the mitten weather wasn’t playing in my favor that day. With that being said, I can’t wait to sport this in the summertime coming up shortly.

I hope you guys enjoy these fun pictures and definitely check out the butterfly house in Midland if you haven’t been already. It’s super cool!

XOXO
