Happy Wednesday beautiful peeps! I hope your having a fabulous week so far and getting a lot accomplished! I am super excited about today’s post because it is definitely a look that took me out of my box and urged me to push the limits a little more than normal. There is something about the grunge look that I’m totally into. I’m not sure if it’s the combination of the rock shirt from the 70’s & 80’s to the choker necklace from the 90’s or the denim cut-offs that I’m not sure have ever gone out of style, but I totally dig the outcome of mixing these decade pieces together into one outfit. Since the weather hasn’t quite warmed up yet, I decided to pair some fleece leggings under the denim cutoffs in order to provide some warmth and I was really happy with the style it brought. You could definitely recreate this look with a pair of black jeans, black leggings and a longer shirt or regular denim blue jeans as well.
This pair of shorts were also my first DIY cut-offs that I attempted. I know the method seems so simple, buy a pair of old jeans and cut the legs where you want. I have to be honest, I’m not much of a thrifter or DIY’er so I was a little hesitant about trying to rock a pair of denim shorts that I made, but they aren’t too shabby haha.
I hope you guys enjoy this different look that I pulled together last weekend!
Have a great Wednesday and thank you so much for your support!
XOXO
